June 25 - August 31

We made shirts for our campers this year! We are selling them for $20 each, and are offering them in three sizes to fit all the ages of kids coming to camp this year. Buy yours at the Wallingford studio today!

Summer Camps Shirts!

Although we ask for kids to be at least 6 years old to attend our summer camp, we are flexible and allow some 5-year-olds on a case-by-case basis. It depends mostly on the maturity of the child and how comfortable they feel around older kids in a loud, active, high-energy space. If you think your child will do well and keep up with a large group of older kids (up to as many as 25-30 kids), we suggest trying a drop-in session first, either at our after school program or a half day of summer camp, to see how they do. If that goes well, we are happy to have your child join us for more camp throughout the summer. Additionally, if the 5-year-old is a younger sibling to a child in our camp, we will allow them to attend, without doing a drop-in first, if the parents think the younger sibling will thrive in our camp environment.

If you’d like to have your 5-year-old try a drop-in, please purchase it through our website and email to let our kids staff know what date your child will be attending to try out the program. Feel free to contact us with any other questions too!

5 Year Old Policy

Here at OmCulture, we are pretty flexible with our cancellation policy, and try our best to accommodate schedule changes. If you register your child for a week of camp and decide you cannot attend it later on, you can either exchange it for a different week of camp, get account credit, or a full refund. However, you need to let us know at least two weeks in advance to get a full refund, since that is taking space away from another child that might want to attend camp that week (and most weeks of camp sell out before summer begins). If you cancel less than a week out, we can give you account credit or you can try attending another week of camp during the summer (or come by for drop ins on five separate dates).

What to Expect from Us

At OmCulture, we strive to create an open, welcoming community that makes everyone feel at hOMe. We have experienced staff, a safe and fun playspace, and affordable prices. We want our services to be available to as many people as possible, no matter your situation. Enrollment is open all summer so your kids can have a fun place to go that you know you can trust. Come spend your summer with us!

Make friends for life!

*Single parent or low income discount available - contact Michael Suzerris at

*Work Exchange opportunity available - for every hour you help at the camp, your child will receive two free hours of enrollment (i.e. work half a day and your child can attend the full day). Contact Michael Suzerris at for details.

*Snacks brought by parent volunteers - this worked so well during Winter Camp that we're bringing it back! We are going to ask that parents volunteer to bring snacks for all the kids at camp at least one time over the course of the summer - each week, we will contact the parents whose children are attending camp to see what food and which day they can provide snacks. Our staff will coordinate this, but we hope everyone will take advantage of participating in camp in this way.

*Special Skills Teachers wanted! - we are looking for parents or other community members to teach a class once per week (juggling, arts & crafts, science, etc.) at our summer camp. Time commitment would be 2-3 hours per week. If you are interested, please email with information about you, what you'd like to teach, and what dates you'd be available to do it at camp.
