SUMMER CAMP
Free Play - Circus Arts - Ninja Training
Give your kids the magical experience of OmCulture this summer! At our summer camp, kids have the opportunity to learn Circus Arts, Flow Arts, Yoga and Gymnastics. This year we will also be adding a healthy dose of art, music and science! Our focus on kinesthetic learning and gross motor skills builds confidence, physical strength, and problem solving skills. In this “supervised play” format, kids get a chance to learn from experienced teachers as they learn to navigate their bodies and minds in 3D space!
Kids are encouraged to have fun and express themselves, while finding safe ways to play and develop physical and mental skills. Bring tight fitting clothes (an extra set for hot days when we might get wet!) you can go upside down in and don't forget to bring a "can do" attitude!
Other daily activities include: singing, percussion, science experiments, art projects, outdoor activities like playing at Gas Works Park, and plenty of free play. We offer healthy, organic, non-GMO snacks that are provided in the morning and afternoon. *Please make sure your child eats breakfast before coming in the morning and bring their own lunch if staying all day - optional for half-day kids to bring their lunch too*

What to expect from us
At OmCulture, we strive to create an open, welcoming community that makes everyone feel at hOMe. We have experienced staff, a safe and fun playspace, and affordable prices. We want our services to be available to as many people as possible, no matter your situation. Enrollment is open all summer so your kids can have a fun place to go that you know you can trust. Come spend your summer with us!
5 Year Old Policy
Although we ask for kids to be at least 6 years old to attend our summer camp, we are flexible and allow some 5-year-olds on a case-by-case basis. It depends mostly on the maturity of the child and how comfortable they feel around older kids in a loud, active, high-energy space. If you think your child will do well and keep up with a large group of older kids (up to as many as 25-30 kids), we suggest trying a drop-in session first, either at our after school program or a half day of summer camp, to see how they do. If that goes well, we are happy to have your child join us for more camp throughout the summer. Additionally, if the 5-year-old is a younger sibling to a child in our camp, we will allow them to attend, without doing a drop-in first, if the parents think the younger sibling will thrive in our camp environment.
If you’d like to have your 5-year-old try a drop-in, please purchase it through our website and email kids@omculture.com to let our kids staff know what date your child will be attending to try out the program. Feel free to contact us with any other questions too!
Cancellation Policy
Here at OmCulture, we are pretty flexible with our cancellation policy, and try our best to accommodate schedule changes. If you register your child for a week of camp and decide you cannot attend it later on, you can either exchange it for a different week of camp, get account credit, or a full refund. However, you need to let us know at least two weeks in advance to get a full refund, since that is taking space away from another child that might want to attend camp that week (and most weeks of camp sell out before summer begins). If you cancel less than a week out, we can give you account credit or you can try attending another week of camp during the summer (or come by for drop ins on five separate dates).
Parent Involvement
Snacks brought by parent volunteers: This worked so well during Winter Camp that we're bringing it back! We are going to ask that parents volunteer to bring snacks for all the kids at camp at least one time over the course of the summer - each week, we will contact the parents whose children are attending camp to see what food and which day they can provide snacks. Our staff will coordinate this, but we hope everyone will take advantage of participating in camp in this way.
Special Skills Teachers wanted: We are looking for parents or other community members to teach a class once per week (juggling, arts & crafts, science, etc.) at our summer camp. Time commitment would be 2-3 hours per week. If you are interested, please email with information about you, what you'd like to teach, and what dates you'd be available to do it at camp.
