Welcome to the team, Melissa Allen! Melissa has been practicing yoga for over a decade and considers herself a life-long student. In 2019, she completed her 200-hour teacher training with Jodi Boone and Tami Hafzalla of Synergy Yoga School. She is currently completing her Master's in Counseling Psychology at Bastyr University and looks forward to integrating mindfulness into her practice as a mental health counselor. With humble gratitude to yoga's sacred lineage and tradition, she aims to teach with presence, compassion, and creativity.
This gentle practice is a great compliment to our higher energy flow classes and is also a great way to balance your body if you enjoy jogging, cycling, climbing or other high intensity workouts. Melissa will guide you through a practice to unwind the body with a gentle warm up and a full body stretch that will end with a guided meditation to help you fall into a blissfully deep state of relaxation.
